Job Description
Title Agency is seeking an experienced Settlement Officer to join our Residential Settlement
Team. The ideal candidate must have at least 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.

Primary Duties:
 Preparation of Purchase, Refinance, Reverse and Construction closing
disclosures and HUD statements
 Communicate with lenders, real estate offices and service companies to
obtain the information needed to proceed to the settlement table
 Review Bank Closing Documents for accuracy
 Schedule closings with borrowers maintaining closings on a spreadsheet
 Act as liaison with title closers solve and answer any questions and/or
concerns from the closing table
 A clear understanding of title insurance commitment and all procedures
ranging from all 50 States to recognize and/or determine clearance issues

Requirements:
 Experience in SoftPro Select (Preferred)
 Able to maintain work priorities in an environment with multiple
concurrent tasks and projects and maintain flexibility related to assigned
tasks
 Able to work with minimum supervision in a team-oriented and fast-paced
environment
 Must be willing to work overtime as needed
 High energy, a positive attitude
 A professional advocate who creates a positive company experience with
customers, business associates, vendors, and fellow employees. Treats
others with respect and courtesy
 Experience working with a high-volume environment or national title
company
